East Harlem Preservation, Inc. (EHP) is a volunteer advocacy organization founded in 2005 to preserve and promote the neighborhood's diverse culture and history.
We provide news and updates on large-scale development, displacement and other issues of public concern to residents andstakeholders in East Harlem/El Barrio and surrounding areas. Our website and e-newsletter also help promote the work of local nonprofit cultural, educational, health, economic development, and environmental organizations.
EHP conducts educational walking tours, public forums, film screenings, and other community events. We also maintain an extensive electronic library and collection of photographs, documents, and other resources primarily for use by students, educators, and service providers. For more information or a quote, drop us an email.
